Surface Treatment & Heat Treatment

Heat treatment ensures consistency in finish, quality, strength and performance of the products. Genau Extrusions has in-house heat treatment facilities that include hardening and tempering, annealing as well as case carburizing. In fact, we are capable of deriving HT cycles as per the customer specifications.

The hardening furnace at Genau uses water, polymer or oil as a quenching medium depending on the customer and product requirements. Furthermore, we are equipped with leading-edge metallographic and microscopic materials for inspection requirements to ensure the quality of heat treatment process.
